PROBLEM: HA5000 waveforms not saved during decoding.
Last reviewed: November 29, 2001
Article ID: 011129sab
The information in this article applies to:
- Pronto for Windows 32 bit releases 5.00 to 5.06.
Symptoms
When playing back data from an HA5000 Harmonics Analyser the waveforms are
not saved in the project.
Cause
If any two waveforms are more than approximately one and a half days apart
the time interval between them is incorrectly decoded. The waveform data then
fails consistency checks and is rejected. This problem was introduced during
the development of the 32 bit release of Pronto for Windows.
Resolution
Any of the following:
Upgrade Pronto for Windows to release 5.07 or later.
Or
Use a shorter recording period to ensure that the time between waveforms
is less than one and a half days.
Or
Use a 16-bit release of Pronto for Windows, for example 4.57, to playback
data from the HA5000.
