Cause

This problem is caused by the presence of the language localization library MFC42LOC.DLL on the system. Some installation programs will install this library by mistake on systems where the system runs in an English environment.

This DLL is located in the windows system directory which is typically C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM for computers running Windows 95/98 or ME or C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\ for computers running Windows NT4 or Windows 2000 or XP.

Resolution

For all versions and operating systems update Pronto for Windows to release 5.04 or later.
