We are an electronic design house with strengths in a wide range of state of the art electronics at system and sub-system level.

We offer design solutions involving:

	Analogue signal processing
	Digital signal processing
	Windows applications
	Embedded microprocessor design & application
	Programmable logic design (FPGA) (EPLD)
	Harmonics and Power Quality monitoring

Our particular specialisation is in data acquisition and signal processing systems from extremely slow to 100 million samples per second. We have licensed designs for our data loggers and associated data recovery software to a number of US companies. These designs are used as the basis for all the (Rustrak) Ranger loggers.

The Ranger brand has had an interesting life since its inception over 20 years ago (for the short story, click here. The latest significant development has been that instead of licencing our designs, in 2003 we (ORL) negotiated back the sole rights to the Intellectual Property for the brand. We are now able to focus fully on Ranger's destiny.

We manufacture all of the products in the range and sell worldwide. In addition we have successfully completed numerous customisation projects, both large and small, based on these versatile devices.

Customers for our specialist engineering include:- British Nuclear Fuels, Civil Aviation Authority, European Atomic Safeguards Directorate, Railtrack, Rolls Royce.
